Lycanthropy

Anyone can suffer from Lycanthropy; both demon and human alike. Even animals, such as wolves, cats, birds, etc. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with werewolves, as the media would have you think.

Lycanthropy is when one's hormones are severely affected by the Full Moon. The effect can result in the following:

Short tempers with an increased chance of violence occurring
Hyperactive libidos
Symptoms of ecstasy
Symptoms of intoxication
Heightened states of depression that can sometimes lead to suicide
Intense happiness
Increased hunger, strength

Demons, humans and animals who suffer from Lycanthropy each have a different term for their condition.

Demons, active demon/human hybrids and active demon/human/angel hybrids are known as Lycans.
Humans, inactive demon/human hybrids and inactive demon/human/angel hybrids are known as lunatics. This doesn't mean that they're crazy, it's just what they're called.
Animals are known as beasts.

There is no known cure for Lycanthropy. However, if Lycanthropy is a serious problem for you and your lifestyle, you should consider taking yoga classes and learn how to meditate properly, in order to control your condition better.
